Experience
I started raiding semi-hardcore when Dragon soul came out and achieved 7/8 hc. We then went through MSV 6/6 and 5/6 in HoF, we skipped toes and cleared ToT but only achieved 2/13 hc.
Now I am 12/14 hc and looking to improve that while having fun. I have always been a priest healer.
Raid role
I am a healer, I bring my own potions, flask and food and of course I look up bosses that I haven’t killed before
. I do look at high end raiding guilds and try to ‘copy’ (to an extent) their stats so I know what stats I should be around. Talent choices
Void tendrils - I use this by default as the others have very little use on most fights, expect Psyfiend which can used to CC adds on Klaxxi.
Angelic feather - I use this pretty much all the time because it means I can help people get speed boosts without worrying too much about weakened soul.
Mindbender - I use this as it allows stronger bursts of healing even though I am disc (non-burst) – which is something I cannot do with the basic shadowfiend. ‘Solace’ and ‘mindbender’ both regains %-mana, thus giving you more mana from your maximum mana- making gnome’s ideal. While mindbender restores on every hit it does, this can be combined with hero/tw (of which I always try to do for more attack = more mana back). Solace will be held back by this and have no amplification throughout the fight, as it is a 1 hit cd. ‘Solace’ on the other hand can dish out some healing along with the restoring mana, making it ideal for ‘quiet’ fights where no big damage spikes or heavy aoe is going on whereas Mindbender is strong regardless of the fights mechanic. While ‘From darkness comes light’ can be a strong talent, it’s way too unreliable and won’t get your mana back.
Desperate prayer - while ‘angelic Bulwark’ can be nice and handy if taking surprise damage were you cannot react with ‘Desperate prayer’. ‘Desperate prayer’ allows for control and is proc-independent (free to cast whenever). Also, when raiding – if done correctly there should be no ‘surprise’ damage of any kind, thus rending ‘Angelic Bulwark’ useless. I have only ever used ‘Spectral Guise’ on Klaxxi for avoiding the aims.
Twist of fate - Since SoO is so cleave fight based there will be a lot of adds to dps that will drop below 35% hp at some point, this basically means that I would be receiving the damage and healing buff that’ll last the entire fight. Compared to ‘power infusion’ you get a strong buff that allows spells such as spirit shell to get super strong and applied even faster, at a lower cost if in a pinched situation. The damage buff is rarely noticeable and should not be used for its damage components, spell haste and mana cost reduction is the key but also its weakness. For example prayer of healing during spirit shell making for a stronger aoe shield, but the more you cast the more mana you spend making the mana part a bit more irrelevant since I could decrease the spells costs by 20%, so essentially I’m weighing 15% healing + 15% increased damage buff vs 20% spell haste.
Divine star - Well, if I use Thok as an example, I obviously want divine star for the insane heals (even through holy because of the easy stacking, while halo or cascade might be better for the fixate phase, the essence of the fight lies in the scream phase - thus making Divine star the ideal choice, though I do switch depending on the fight for example halo for malkorok and cascade for immerseus.
Anyway enough rambling on ^^

Guild History
Well I started raiding and became an officer with a guild called <Newidz> on Aszune EU and raided there for 2 and a half years, our raid team disbanded due to it becoming a ‘dead’ server which made it nearly impossible to recruit when people decided to pursue other things. So I moved to ravencrest EU with the other officers and joined the guild <Evocati> I raided and progressed with them for a few months before leaving on Klaxxi progress, I left because I never truly felt that I ‘fit in’ there, although they were still nice people. So I joined the guild Sanctum and have raided with them for the last 2 months they are nice people but I would prefer to leave ravencrest behind and join a guild that is a little more dedicated to the game and raiding.
Anyway while I was looking for other guilds on different servers yours looked like a nice place to be with a stable raid team that gets things done. I’ll be honest I never thought about moving to Defias Brotherhood but you have made me think twice and I would love to give this a shot.

About you
I am an 18 year old student (studying business and finance) I don't really have a social life so I spend most of my time playing video games. Of course my priority is WoW but I also like to play some other games on the side such as; Arma 2, dayz and battlefield 4. I take pride in my attendance and everything I do is to the best of my ability.
