I'm Merke Felbane. I'm sure my reputation precedes me... *waits* ... *waits longer* Ugh. I started out as a scout for The Crimson Eagle. I'm sure you've at least heard of them... They used to battle against the forces of the Horde back before the Cataclysm? ... Often teamed up with The Stormwind Militia and The Darnassus Sentinels? *sighs*
I don't like to talk about myself much so I'll try and keep this short and sweet. I was a Major in The Crimson Eagle, one of the finest military wings Stormwind has ever seen and our actions through the Dark Portal were vital to defending Azeroth. When the scourge invaded our lands, I joined up with a team called Echoes of Lordaeron and took the fight to Icecrown, against the forces of Arthas. In my time there, I became a General of a core group of powerful fighters. Look, I'm not one to brag - I feel my modesty is one of my greater traits - but I was damn good at what I did. I retired when The Lich King fell. I felt it was a good time. My skills were at their peak and the threat was over, and I'd met someone. Someone special.
Now I'm older. Rusty. I've lost everything. But I can still fight.

TL;DR: I like everything.
I've literally just came back to WOW after almost a six year hiatus so what I do will largely depend on the state of the game right now. I used to PvE. A lot. I raided TBC/WOTLK on Scarshield Legion with Echoes of Lordaeron and had a brief stint with Numen where we were pushing for world top 30 kills in Ulduar. Proudest WoW moment was getting Tribute to Dedicated Insanity with my ten man group - I think I'm right in saying that we were the only ones on SSL to pick it up. I used to enjoy arena but never really got past the 2k area, and really enjoyed RBGs but only played them very briefly before I quit.

I was annoying people on the Stormwind General chat with questions like "Where the hell has the Guild tab gone?" and "Transmogawhat?" and Moonwell was extremely helpful and not annoyed by me whatsoever.
