Who are you?
Hey there dudes and dudettes! My name is Mikkel, i am 21 and i live in Denmark.
Currently i am reading up some classes before i am starting on University next year, the plan is to become a lawyer or international communication expert (Very dry and boring stuff, i know!).
Short words about me and my interests:
Gamer by heart, Open and friendly, A nerdy freaky Pen And Paper player!.
Which of our two raid groups are you applying for?
I am applying for group 1, the reason is that their raid days fits me.
Raid role
My roles in the raids will be to fit in for two roles, first of all then it is mainly to be tank! This puts the responsibility to keep control over the fights. I see tanks as exactly that, they are there to take aggro obviously, but they are also the ones that "controls" the fight, they smooth the fight with the right positions, the right CD's and work strictly on communication and teamwork, this is what defines my role as a tank strictly. Then there is my class, as a warrior i have a great amount of tools to get around fights, and it is my roles to use these tools to secure the survival of the raid and the kill on the boss. With this i mean that warriors have extremely powerful Colddowns, 2 of them being on next to NO colddown at all, and makes the warrior able to via. Shield Barrier; Absorb huge amount of dmg (Depending on Attack Power = Vengeance) or to overall remove atleast 30% of all physical dmg, with Shield Block. Besides these two then warriors have overall what I personally consider, 6 other CD's (Last Stand, Shield Wall, Rallying Cry, Demoralizing Roar, Safeguard, Demoralizing Banner), with these cds the warrior can benefit, not only himself, but also the rest of the raid.
Experience
I used to be a very competitive raider through Wrath, Cata and early MoP, but then took a break to focus on other things, like finished the first part of my education, that means that i am behind in progress atm, but i can promise that i will work my arse off to compensate for the missing experience in the new content, with my experience as a raider.
Wrath:
Cleared most raids on Heroic/Hardmode.
Cataclysm:
T11: Cleared abit on heroic while the content was relevant, cleared the rest on heroic when Firelands were out.
T12: Cleared firelands on HC before Dragon Soul launched.
T13: Cleared Dragon Soul Heroic before 15% nerf and ended up being the second best performing hunter on the realm (Acording to logs from most guilds) and the best geared hunter on the realm.
MoP:
T14: Cleared abit on Heroic while before i took a break from competitive raiding.
T15: Cleared ToT on normal.
Off-specs and Alternative characters
I have a Arms off spec which i feel very comfortable with playing, it is only ilvl 496 but it is a good baseline, and i will work my arse off to gear it up meanwhile i am gearing Prot, so that i can perform as a dual role on the team, as i was told that that was what you currently needed. I feel that i am good with my off spec, and that it just needs gear, but of course does it take work to get that to work as well as my main spec, but i will make it work and of course read up my theory crafting around it like it was my main spec.

Guild History
I have been in a few guilds through my time, on all my different chars, but ill put in the most relevant:
Phase Two: Back in Wrath i raided with Phase Two and we became the 4th best guild on the realm in ICC. I left them when they disbanded.
Prime: I raided with Prime for a very long time, had alot of fun there and we got some really good achievements! They were a big part of making me the relaxed raider i am today.
Paradox: This was a horde guild i raided with in the end of Cata and start of MoP, i had a really good time with these guys, and i have only good things to say here. I left them when i got a (In my opinion) Chance of a lifetime, it wasn't a fun departure and i still have alot of respect for these lads.
Nihilium: In the start of MoP i got the chance to join the famous (For atleast Vanilla players) Nihilium, leaded by Kungen who was tank for Ensidia back in the days and the guild master of Nihilium in Vanilla and at that point. It was a awesome chance and i enjoyed it alot, here i really got a taste of a new kind of raiding and i got some heroic bosses down in T14. At that time though, my schedule didn't fit a 5 raids a week guild and i had to leave, it was also here i started taking a little break.
Since then then i have been in guilds here and there, doing some standard raiding. I have had my own guild and have just been relaxing, focusing on pvp and gearing pve chars. Now that i am done with the school thing and i study home now, then i really feel that now is the chance to arrange time for raiding again, and to find a good solid guild i can call my home, and this is why i apply to you guys
I have seen yours members around and i talked fast with a mighty mighty King gnome, and i just thought that the whole attitude is awesome. So i am really interested in getting the chance to join your family Raid availability

I dont know anyone in the guild, but i have heard from you through researching abit about what guilds were recruiting on WoWProgress.com. And i decided to contact one of your officers. I dont have any applications with others either, you guys were first prio. Just wanted to mention that since that i could sound like i am putting applications everywhere

I am a very positive person (acording to myself) and i like to joke around and have a blast with people. But with this then i also but some efford in keeping it mature, i don't like drama and such stuff, and don't intent to start any of such. I think everyone has a kid side that they need to explode with sometimes but it has to be fun for everyone around you as well
In raiding then i am a very serious raider, i dedicate myself into performing the best i can, i test specs, talents, glyphs and different stat prios in order to get the maximum out of my performance, so if you decide to give me a chance, then you will also see that from me. Also then i am pretty keen on most classes (Specially Hunters though) and is always up for helping people with their class or with things online!
Miscellaneous
I know i am undergeared and i dont have up to date experience with current content! But i am a dedicated player with ALOT of background knowledge and experience! And i hope that that can make up for my lack of gear. I think that if you give me the chance and can live with that i need to gear abit (Which i will work hard for of course) then you will get a good and solid player on your roster!
