Who is your character?
[Your character name, class, specs, and Armory link. Try to log out in main-spec gear]
Munches - Most people just call me munch, not sure how I got the name but it just kinda stuck.
I play a warlock Destro/Demo, Not a fan of affliction, but I play alts on and off as well, druid and hunter mostly.
Warlock - http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/d ... s/advanced
Druid - http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/d ... n/advanced
Hunter - http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/d ... n/advanced
Who are you?
[Your name, age, where you're from, etc]
My name is Michael, i'd prefer not to mention my second name. I'm from England and Im 16
Experience
[What is your prior raiding experience? Which tiers? LFR/Flex/Normal/Heroic(/Mythic)? And importantly: Did you clear these raids when they were current content (the most recent tier added), or come back in the next patch/expansion? If you've performed any character change re-rolling in your time, what character(s) and role(s) did you play during which content?]
I started to raid at the start of mists, but I went on to learn my class really well and found myself raiding at a high level, where my latest achivement was killing heroic (new mythic now) spoils of pandaria (patch 5.4).
I've re-rolled 3 times, Started on the Frost Death Kight, After finding the runes abit like juggling, i moved onto a Balance Druid I played that for around 6 months, but after seeing the changes blizzard made to them I decided it wasen't for me, so I landed on the Warlock and i enjoyed it as it is and I was glad to see its got minimal changes if any.
Raid role
[Describe your current role in a raid team, how you prepare for it and how you judge your own performance. Where do you learn new things and keep yourself updated on your class?]
My role is a DPS, I like to be well prepared before raids ready with flasks, making sure my characters gear is fully optimised, and potions. I do like to critisise my own perfomance by recording my gameplay, looking over at WoL, thinking of what I could have done better. I keep myself updated with Elitist Jerks, Icy viens, PTR testing and talking amungst other warlocks.
Talent choices
[Please tell us what talents/important glyphs you chose to run for each of the last four bosses of SoO, and explain why you choose them (Not just "It's the best!"). We like to see the insight behind your choices, and it clarifies things in case Armory shows you in some strange PvP/soloing spec!]
Thok,
Talents
I would take Dark Regeneration as you cannot get that many casts off due to its interupt mechanic so soul leech is quite weak . Soul link for the increased HP with GrimSac works well as thok as a lot of constant damage.
Glyphs
Glyph of Havoc, so I can havoc the boss/the add and go on and cast at the boss or add, you wont be using havoc that much this fight so might as well gain more charges.
Glyph of healthstone, for the increased HP gain and on a fight like thok with constant damage this could really help out the healers
Glyph of Unending Resolve, So that you can be interupted/silenced less, while taking less damage.
Siegecrafter,
Talents
Soul leech as you do have quite a lot of time to build up the sheild and you are free to cast, Sacrifical pact as if you suddenly get stuck inbetween 2 sawblades it could save your life. And again GrimSac and Archimode's darkness, because they have the most output.
Glyphs
Glyph of havoc; Havoc'ing the add that spawns and killing the boss, helping the tank out.
Paragons of the Klaxxi
Talents
Sacrifical pact; absorb some of the damage from "aim"
Glyphs
Glyph of havoc; this is really useful when generating burning embers, you can havoc 1 boss and cast incinerate at another therefor doubling your burning ember generation.
Glyph of demonic circle; to quickly move out of the amber that is thrown on the floor.
Garrosh Hellscream
Talents
Dark regeneration; there is a lot of burst damage in this fight, therefor soul leech would be useless, in comparison to regen
If i have a pet; soul link, if not Sacrificial pact, this is because i would find 20% reduced damage taken way more effecive than my HP pool being increased, Sacrificial pact is good as it is a 1min CD and could be used on basicly every whirling corruption
Glyphs
Glyph of healthstone; as it can heal for a ton in burst situations
Glyph of havoc; as you can havoc the boss and cast at the decicrated weapon
Off-specs and Alternative characters
[How comfortable are you switching to your off-spec for a fight/raid if needed?
Do you have any alts that would also be a viable option for raiding with us? (for the case that we love you but can't fit your main in our rosters) Please add Armory links for other characters if so, and tell us to what degree they are/have been played.]
Hunter - http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/d ... n/advanced I feel I can play it pretty well, was my PvP Alt, Can play and understand all specs.
Druid - http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/d ... n/advanced Was my old main for 6 months, raided old heroic (now mythic) on it as boomkin, still i feel i can play feral well.
I'm fine with playing my OS's on my warlock.
Communication
[Do you have a microphone and how comfortable are you with using it during encounters if needed? Are you happy to use these forums for discussion of tactics/general scheming, and check back regularly for important information?]
Yes, I have a Mic and I am fine to use it in the context you have said.
Combat Logs
[If possible please link a log showing your character raiding current content. If you have no logs, please explain why (eg, logs expired) and/or aim to log your performance from an LFR/Flex/PUG run, to add to your application. TRC raiders are expected to review their own performance on Warcraft Logs in order to improve, so you should be/get used to doing this. It's especially important for dps-players, and applicants who would need to transfer before we can trial them (eg Horde).]
Warcraft log and a youtube link. I have a log of me doing garrosh. But its awful

Your UI
[Attach a screenshot of your current raiding UI, and if it shows anything unusual (in the UI, not the chat box :p), feel free to explain your choices.]

Guild History
[What other guilds have you been in? What made you move(/plan to move) from these guilds, and why do you want to join TRC?]
Frostwolves - A horde guild, Left due to lack of progression in even normal SoO,Friends on horde wanting me to join them, people not playing their character to the most optimal level, a lot of quantity over quality in recruitment.
Prime - Alliance guild, I found progression to be ok, but inceptio offered me a spot in their raiding team said that they were going to make a really good team ect, and at the time prime were getting a few pugs in over several weeks, which generaly screwed up the fight, so naturaly I choose inceptio over prime.
Inceptio - Alliance guild, people not doing the most of what they can. Having to pug half the raid everynight, recruitment hardly ever happened and when it did they were again quantity over quality, due to the amount of players we needed.
Defenders of Azeroth - Feeling held back to what i could supposedly achive, forcing me to play a class and role that i didn't want to,Also when not raiding members of the guild (officers) would threathen to kick me for not doing scenarios, dungeons, old raids, ect, with them this led me to leaving as i was not happy with the community of the guild
Raid availability
[Can you generally make all of our raiding days/times, or are there any difficulties with this? Our current raid schedule is found here.]
Yes I can make the times.
References
[How did you hear about us? And do you know someone from the game who can vouch for you as player/person?]
I'm very friendly with the people i meet, and seen you advertising for garrosh boosts/guild adervertisements in trade chat. If you speak to Rity, he is willing to vouch for me.
About you
[A little something about yourself as a person. It can be brief if you like, it's just a sort of introduction to the rest of the guild. ]
Well, Im very friendly with all of the people i meet, If anyone needs help or anything i can offer i will be glad to help, I enjoy soloing content, but seems like they've made it a lot easier :c which ruined the fun. Also i make tons of puns.. be warned.

Hello Munches!
Thank you for your application, please give us some time to review it.
A few questions have already arissen by just scimming through your app;
1) What was the progression with the guilds you were in?
2) Do you have any combatlogs other than normal(old flex)?
3) Have you looked into any theorycrafting by Sparkuggz/Evrilia or any other top warlocks regarding talents/glyph choises for 6.0?
4) How capable are you of playing demonology?
5) Also you mentioned that you keep yourself updated by talking to other warlocks, any names?
Kind regards,
Beast

Re: [Raider] Munches, level 90 Warlock.
Hello! Thank you for replying.
The guilds that I was in, were all Heroic, Mythic now, raiding around the 1-6 first bosses. With the exception of Defenders of Azeroth, They just did Flex for 6 weeks odd and refused to try anything harder.
As regarding any more logs, I understand I could have given a bit more yes, and I do not have any at hand but I am raiding mythic malkork and on wards, which I will happily log and give you a link Asap.
Yes, I have looked into some of the upcoming theorycrafting and current theorycrafting, that is one of my main loves about warlock, how much there is.
I feel Im easily capable of playing Demonology on single target/Council fights, Tho I still struggle on strong AOE.
I have spoken to Living, Zonday, Vuth, Yves on occasions about current theorycrafting
Hope this answer's your questions

Re: [Raider] Munches, level 90 Warlock.
Thanks for a quick answer.
It would be very helpfull to have a look at mythic logs since we don't raid normal anymore. Also to see how you cope with certain mechanics etc.
I forgot to mention that we currently have very strong and very competent warlocks in our raiding group thus making competition very hard to be able to outshine them. Hopefully more relevant logs will help us come to a conclusion.

Re: [Raider] Munches, level 90 Warlock.
Hello again!
We've had a little more detail discussion with the resident warlocks and officers. As mentioned before the competition of the warlocks is very tough and we're sorry to say we can't offer you a raiding spot in RG1. Simply due to the lack of experience in current tier and experience raiding on the warlock.
Also due to the lack of in-depth knowledge of your rotation which is evident in your youtube video. And lastly due to your age we feel you won't really fit in, the average age of our raid group is 20+.
If you want to be a better warlock i'd recommend you speak to better warlocks and learn from them, the ones you mentioned earlier aren't ones i would recommend. People like Alarinth from Amused to Death, Idarani/Terrorcore/Snj/Lockren from Kingsfall on Defias Brotherhood. Otherwise top warlocks from EU/US like the ones on Sentrytotem.com, Evrilia from ScrubBusters, or Sparkuggz from Method.
However, if you still want to join The Raven Council we can offer you a spot as a social member and potentially a spot in our 2nd raid team.
