borderlands

Post by Jaera » 11 May 2010, 17:01

anyone play this? might be nice to get a couple of us together to do it because it seems fun but not so amazing solo.

I've played it solo almost until the end, but together it's more fun. You can even use your single player char if you like, but it's more fun to get an equal level char :P.

I've probably od'd on it already having done the second playthrough to max level I'm afraid. Definitely more fun with more of you, but overall I found it probably a little too easy (in both solo and group play)

Not sure if I have a level 1 slot (if they are limited). Leveling up at the start is very quick though, so even having a level 10 around would mean you catch up quickly, as the level 10 doesn't get experience from doing your quests but can still help out.

Playing on sofa can be really painful for the neck and such, unless you sit upright like you do at a pc anyway :P.

I've been through Borderlands alone and with friends. Definately better with friends on a LAN. Managed to complete it twice with 3 of the char types (not keen on Brick but he is fun to see work from a distance). I would say Siren is my fav class. Of the add-ons, I'd recommend Dr Ned. It is good fun.
