Well, the original TB all presented the virtues of curved vectors..

They got a rhythm gymnast to do all her moves and then made them into pixels, hence realism. The game looks awesome, which you'd expect for Tomb Raider :)

Been playing this a bit.

It's a lot less fiddly and more fluid than previous Tomb Raider games.

It still has frustrating moments - but that's part of the nature of the game, sometimes it's not clear where you should be going or what you should be doing. The Sonar-Map feature is entirely useless, and the Field Research hint system is either blindingly obvious or just completely unhelpful.

But, the puzzles are well thought out, the scenery is very pretty and the camera does seem to automatically focus primarily on Lara's rounder portions.

Having a lot of fun with it at the moment.

ps, I want her motorbike.

Very very short.

Very little replay value.

Story won't make any sense if you didn't play the previous game or 2.

Nice while it lasts though.

I haven't played it out yet, but I'd guess it's about max payne short. The puzzles make it seem longer probably.

I'd say there's around 4 hours of playtime in there - depending on how many times you slip off a ledge and have to climb all the way back up again :P. You can probably squeeze a little more out of it if you bother hunting all the shiny relics which I couldn't be arsed with.
