What's your mental problem?
What's your mental problem?
I reckon we're all a little mental in someway or another. So let's share...
I have 2.
1. Paranoia - I can not look into a mirror without imagining someone else looking back at me - over my shoulder, or off to one side - I always think there'll be someone there.
2. I'm a little OCD - only in these 3 ways:
i) My dvd collection has to be in alphabetical order at ALL times.
ii) The knobs on the oven must all be perfectly vertical when turned off.
iii) When I walk in to the bathroom I must turn the light on - even in daytime (and then I turn it straight off) - then on my way out I have to turn it on and off again.

You no take candle!
When I leave my apartment for work or anything, I'm half the time wondering if I really closed the door and that the lock clicked. Sometimes I even walk back from bus stop to verify it.
As a remedy, whenever leaving home, I explicitly take a moment to remember that the darn door is closed. On one time I got this feeling like when I was already a half a hour drive from home, so I figured "well, I don't remember closing the door, but OTOH, I don't remember leaving it open, either. So it's probably closed.".

When I leave my apartment, I can chant to myself "I locked the door, I locked the door, I locked the door" - when I then get 2 stair-flights down, I get in doubt wether I actually locked the door or not.
I then turn around, go back up and tadaa - it was locked.
One day I actually had cycled 5 mins, and had to turn around to check if it was locked - which it ofc was.
It's beginning to annoy the living sh.. out of me

I'm paranoid. I hate it. Always think something bad is going to happen because of it too. Hate it really
