Hey everyone, Alex here. Looking for a new home to spend my WoW days in. I hope you guys read this with as much enthousiasm as i wrote it!
Who is your character?
The name's Graev, pal. Warlock. Proud tall standing gnome. Keeping busy with dark magic and agony in it's free time. Been around since ragnaros and nefarian were terrorizing his olde gnomeregan. Became more and more powerful over time and is now a proud max level guy with a whole army of demon pets. This has always been my main since late vanilla and bc and am not planning to change any time soon. Used to raid very progressivly when i was younger/in college.
Who are you?
OK, The name's Alex. Belgian. Not as crazy and obsessed with power as the little dude i'm playing. I'm 25 in a few days and work as a network engineer for small and medium businesses. I commute a lot and have hardly any time to raid as i used to with my own appartement, girlfriend and work interfering. Nonetheless i keep up as much as i can with WoW during office hours and listening to podcasts in the car.
I'm a master industrial engineer by education and just love videogames. If i'm not playing wow it's dota2 or gaming on my ps4 in the couch.
Activity
Currently, my real life schedule doesn't allow me to raid a lot and i haven't really gone into pvp yet in WoD. I mostly manage garrison on my main and try to spend some time on the alts i have on defias brotherhood. Gonna try to gear up a bit once i have a little more free time the coming weeks so i can hop into a premade pug with my dude.
Might gonna check out ashran, i heard good stuff about it as well. Apart from that i'm finishing my transmog sets. I love dressing up, i have almost all tiers now completed on my warlock and just need about 2 more.
Guild history
Horde- Embers rising. Family type guild. Been here for almost 3 years and a half before i decided to leave to find a new adventure on alliance side. Before embers, i was part of a raiding guild on Frostmane EU - Alliance - Ryfari. A dutch guild. Both of those two guilds really were family type guilds where a lot of respect was shown between members as well as outside of the guild towards strangers. I prefer this playstyle where people are treated as people and not as npcs that help another player get his goals.
Apart from those i've been part of a few more raiding guild in vanilla like Inner sanctum on Silvermoon, Muse on chambers of aspect but that is like 9+ years ago and i and them were totally different people than we are now.
References
First i read the forum thread on the realm forums. I decided to check out via that way and i also asked in trade chat this morning for anyone who might know a family type, open and long term guild to call home. I was contacted almost immediately by a member called Ktria who gave me more info about the guild and located me to this website to apply.
About you
I think if you took the time to read this you have a good figure in your mind about me. An open and social guy who puts mutual respect on the top of the list of my expectations on joining a new guild. Help me, i'll help you is all i'm asking for. A guild that allows players to express themselves freely as i read in the newcomers stickied post on this board. Hoping to get to know you guys soon,
Alex.
