[Social] Leuco - Level 100 Shadow Priest
Posted: 21 Nov 2014, 00:11
Who is your character?
Leuco, Night Elf Shadow Priest
Who are you?
Nick, age 26, from the Netherlands.
Activity
Raiding, but unfortunately my current schedule won't allow such obligations. Thus forcing me to settle with Heroic Dungeons, LFR and such. Other than that, just enjoying the game with friends and friendly people. Playing on your own is such a drag.
Guild history
Having started playing in Vanilla, I can't remember most of the guilds from that time. Though I have expierenced ZG and MC, it was more socially than hardcore. In TBC I remembered rolling Holy Paladin (Adinda) and joining Last Tears, where I first raided on a social basis, later moving on to Redrum Inc where things got more serious. Througout WotLK Redrum Inc experienced some problems, where I decided I deserved more than all the drama. I applied to and got accepted by Revelations, at that time the number 1 guild on Defias Brotherhood. After some time, pushing for achievements got the better of me and to avoid getting discharged I decided to leave myself, returning to a less demanding schedule. So I joined The Tempered Sun where I had a good time with nice people. During this time I had several burnouts in WoW. Having kept in touch with several friends from Redrum Inc I later returned there. Unfortunately, the drama started again and with the core raiders we formed The Core. With them I raided all of Cataclysm on my priest, to the point of MoP, where the guild became inactive. As of now I am still a member here, but the only one playing at the moment.

Ronick is my IRL friend, that is how I heared about you.
About you
I graduated as a History/Geography teacher, but never pursued this line of work. I'm now finishing up a Life Science study next to having a full time job as a Processing Operator of an Industrial Evaporator and Technological Spray Dryer with a company that produces baby food. This is in a all-continues shift, making me have a very unstable roster, working evenings and nights. One week I could be online every evening, the other almost none. This leaves me having no choice when it comes to raiding. A social spot with a alt run once every while would be the second best option for me. Not to mention just being around people when logging in.
Other than then, I enjoy reading history, science and political geography books. I hit the gym a couple of times per week, I like watching movies, series and listening to music. But above all, I like gaming. If not WoW, singleplayer console games. I just dinged level 100, so obviously my gear is far from excellent. Aiming to gathering some gear now.
I read too many applications in all these years to know how boring and vapid the “I will be awesome, raid ready and always carry 100 flasks, potions and food” line sounds. If you read up to here, you know me as a player somewhat. I will just mention that I understand the mix of laid back attitude and responsibility towards a guild.
