Who is your character?
[Your character name, class, specs, and Armory link. Try to log out in main-spec gear]

Stárkerz, Priest, Shadow (MS), Disc (OS), http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/d ... z/advanced

Who are you?
[Your name, age, where you're from, etc]

I'm Stephen, 23 years young, I'm from the East of England.

Experience
[What is your prior raiding experience and when did you do it (ie, did you clear a raid when it was current content or not)? If you've performed any character change re-rolling in your time, what character(s) and role(s) did you play during which content?]

Raids Cleared (Before nerfs)

Vanilla: Rogue, I was very young at this point in time so was a complete noob! although i did manage to clear a few raids.
Zul'Gurub
Onyxia's Lair
Molten Core
BWL - Only did the first two bosses.

TBC: Mage, I matured slightly by the time TBC came out so tried my hand at some semi - hardcore raiding and managed to kill the following.
Serpentshrine Cavern
Tempest Keep - Up to Kael'Thas
Mount Hyjal
Karazhan
Gruul's Lair
Magtheridon's Lair
Black Temple - Up too Gurtogg Bloodboil (Took a break due to school)

WotLK: #HYPE a new class! I re-rolled a Death Knight as did pretty much everyone i think when Wrath was released. I had my taste of serious raiding in TBC and loved it so decided to up the ante a little and try some Hardcore raiding.
Eye of Eternity
Naxxramas
The Obsidian Sanctum
Ulduar
Trial of the Grand Crusader
Icecrown Citadel (Took a break after killing the Lich King)

Cataclysm: I played Death Knight a little into Cataclysm however due to IRL the raiding experience was cut short.
Baradin Hold
Blackwing Decent
The Bastion of Twilight
Throne of the Four Winds (Took a break, Got married, had two daughters and settled down)

Mists of Pandaria: Blizzard ruined Unholy spec so i decided to not only re-roll but to try healing for a change however that didn't last long because i ended up playing Shadow for 80% of my time in MoP. (I came back from my break about two or three months before SoO)
SoO - 14/14 HC

Raid role
[Describe your current role in a raid team, how you prepare for it and how you judge your own performance. Where do you learn new things and keep yourself updated on your class?]

My current role within the raid team is DPS (Shadow), i prepare myself for every fight by reading up on many different forums to name a few, Howtopriest, MMO-Champ, Elitist Jerks i also dabble with Simcraft pretending i know how to use it. The way i judge my performance is mainly by looking through logs from the past few weeks trying to notice where i can improve whether that be DoT uptimes, Buff uptimes (Manipulating Twist of fate or snapshotting) also making sure to use Mind Blast as many times as possible.

Talent choices
[Please tell us what talents/important glyphs you chose to run for each of the last four bosses of SoO, and why. We like to see the insight behind your choices, and it clarifies things in case Armory shows you in some strange PvP/soloing spec!]

Thok: Due to the amount of movement and the amount of interrupts i would role with.
Glyphs: Glyph of Inner Sanctum, Glyph of Mind Flay, Glyph of Vampiric Embrace.
Talents: Feathers - Amazing speed boost for yourself and others, Spectral Guise - To cheat Thok's fixate when he gets a wee bit too close for comfort, Surge of Darkness - Instant Mind Spike's means less interrupts i have to deal with, Shadowy Insight - same reason as Surge but instant Mind Blasts and Halo.

Siegecrafter: For this fight like many others i would use the following.
Glyphs: Glyph of Inner Sanctum, Glyph of Mind Flay, Glyph of Vampiric Embrace.
Talents: Angelic Bulwark - Has saved my life on may occasions due to stray saw blades, Body and Soul - Provides a nice speed increase as well as a shield, Insanity - deals the highest amount of damage, Void Tendrils - So i can root mines getting too close to the ranged group, Twist of Fate - With all the mines and shredders it is quite easy to keep a good uptime, and Halo.

Paragons: For this fight i only change two talents.
Glyphs: Glyph of Inner Sanctum, Glyph of Mind Flay, Glyph of Vampiric Embrace.
Talents: Spectral Guise - This is a perfect talent to take to help deal with the AIM mechanic, Body and Soul - Provides a nice speed increase as well as a shield to help negate some damage, Insanity - deals the highest amount of damage, Void Tendrils - So i can root parasites, Shadowy Insight - Due to being three targets up right until the very end of the fight allows to get many SW:P DoT's on all three in return giving you many instant Mind Blasts, and Halo.

Garrosh: I run the same talents as i would Siegecrafter.
Glyphs: Glyph of Inner Sanctum, Glyph of Mind Flay, Glyph of Vampiric Embrace.
Talents: Angelic Bulwark - Helps negate some damage from many mechanics during the fight, Body and Soul - Provides a nice speed increase as well as a shield to help negate some damage, Insanity - deals the highest amount of damage, Void Tendrils - Although not used for anything, Twist of Fate - Is the best choice due to many mobs reaching 35% heath very frequently in the first phase and during transition phases, and Halo.

Off-specs and Alternative characters
[How comfortable are you switching to your off-spec for a fight/raid if needed?

My Disc gear is not that great i think around 565ilvl however if it was needed i wouldn't have a problem switching to it.

Do you have any alts that would also be a viable option for raiding with us? (for the case that we love you but can't fit your main in our rosters) Please add Armory links for other characters if so, and tell us to what degree they are/have been played.]
I am actually wanting to re-roll to either a Mage or a Warrior dependant on what ever you guys would need more, Unfortunately these characters do not have much in terms of gear, I have played the mage a lot during TBC however the warrior was only used for PvP around 1800-1900 rating. I am willing and planning to read up every little detail i can find to help adapt to my new class/role and will continue to do so as we progress into the expansion.

Communication
[Do you have a microphone and how comfortable are you with using it during encounters if needed? Are you happy to use these forums for discussion of tactics/general scheming, and check back regularly for important information?]

I do have a microphone, at first i may be a wee bit shy but that will soon change once i get to know you all. If i was given a task to report some information back it would be no problem.

Logs
[If possible please link a log showing your character raiding current content. If you have no logs, please explain why (eg, logs expired) and/or aim to log your performance from an LFR/Flex/PUG run, to add to your application. TRC raiders are expected to review their own performance on Warcraft Logs in order to improve, so you should be/get used to doing this. ;) It's also especially helpful for applicants who would need to transfer before we can trial them (eg Horde).]

Here are the most recent logs i have.

Was my best Garrosh to date until i died at 30% otherwise i would of been maybe 2nd, 3rd or 4th? I was sooooo mad.

Your UI
[Attach a screenshot of your current raiding UI, and if it shows anything unusual (in the UI, not the chat box :p), feel free to explain your choices.]

I have gone for quite a plain UI so i can see what is going on around me whist keeping an eye on all the important objects.

I use:
Elvui - Provides pretty much everything you need.
WeakAuras - Is a great way to keep track of buffs and debuffs as well as DoT durations.
Skada - I am very competitive so this helps me stay motivated.
DBM - I prefer it over BigWigs
Plate Buffs - Helps display what targets i have dots rolling on and how long they have left.
Range display - Perfect addon to optimize the damage done by Halo.

Guild History
[What other guilds have you been in? What made you move(/plan to move) from these guilds, and why do you want to join TRC?]

Vanilla - Krazy Fools (Turalyon Server). I left because there wasn't much pve going on it was mainly pvp.
TBC - Twilight Empire (The Venture Co Server). I had a break during the summer months when i was sitting my GCSE's and when i returned there wasn't a spot for me in the raid team.
WotLK - D A R K S I D E (Blade's Edge Server). The guild disbanded shortly after killing the LK.
Cataclysm - Consequence (Nordrassil Server). I left Consequence not long into Cataclysm to get married and to settle down with my two daughters.
MoP - Denied (I was GM)/Sacrosanct (I was an Officer) due to merger. I left Sacrosanct because the atmosphere was very unpleasant between the officers and i hate drama.
Amused to Death. I left purely on the fact they had over recruited on Shadow Priests so was unable to give me a permanent raiding spot in WoD. They are a great guild and very kindly said they would vouch for me in future applications. I recently faction changed to help a guild called Saníty kill 14/14 in what ever way i could, now that they have killed 14/14 i am looking for a home to stay in!

I want to join TRC because i have heard so many great things about you guys even on Horde side, Your raid days/times fit perfectly for me, your progression rate is very good and i share the same aims and goals you do walking into WoD.

Raid availability
[Can you generally make all of our raiding days/times, or are there any difficulties with this? Our current raid schedule is found here.]

Yes your raiding schedule fits perfectly.

References
[How did you hear about us? And do you know someone from the game who can vouch for you as player/person?]

I heard about you guys through general word of mouth.
The officers of Amused to Death will vouch for me if needed.

About you
[A little something about yourself as a person. It can be brief if you like, it's just a sort of introduction to the rest of the guild. :)]

I am married with two lovely (at times) daughters, i re-manufacture toner cartridges for a living, i play a few games such as WC3, CS:GO and Hearthstone and i like to pvp.

Miscellaneous
[If you have any extra notes that do not necessarily fit in anywhere else, stick 'em here.]

I would like to re-roll to Warrior or Mage (Which ever you guys need more) however the gear my Warrior and Mage currently have isn't good enough for the current setting you are raiding at. I am quite happy to raid on my priest until WoD to get to know you guys.
