[Describe your current role in a raid team, how you prepare for it and how you judge your own performance. Where do you learn new things and keep yourself updated on your class?]
I consider my primary role in raids DPSing. My secondary role would be support, with the huge utility kit that Rets have. To prepare for a battle, you must know the mechanics. Which glyphs will likely help the raid the most? Which talents will maximize my DPS? And more of that kind of stuff. On high mobility fights (Klaxxi HC is probably the best example) I look at how I can maximize my uptime on the boss without completely destroying the raid.
To keep myself updated on changes and so on, I just look on the MMO-Champion forums where there are always ongoing discussions about theorycrafting, BiS gear and so on.

I'd be pretty comfortable but it's not completely geared yet (although it's nearly put together)
Do you have any alts that would also be a viable option for raiding with us? (for the case that we love you but can't fit your main in our rosters) Please add Armory links for other characters if so, and tell us to what degree they are/have been played.]
None as of right now. If you can't fit in my main and you'd rather have another class I would like to play I can reroll for WoD and maybe fit into that roster.
Communication

I'm comfortable with talking through my mic if it's needed and of course I will check out the forums.

Guild History
[What other guilds have you been in? What made you move(/plan to move) from these guilds, and why join ours?]
Wrath
I joined many guilds back then and after ToC I wanted to go hardcore and I joined Cookie - Darkspear. I remained there for over a year until early Cata, when I switched to Horde to raid with a group of friends in the guild called Midlifecrisis.
Cata
In Midlifecrisis I had a good time. Happy raids, topping DPS and just having a smashing time. Then I wanted to go back to my Paladin (I played Warlock at the time) and they said "We dont need more melee". One week after that one of the officers rerolled rogue, I was still stuck on the lock that I didn't want to play any longer and I left the guild and took a break.
At the end of Cataclysm I joined Crimson, made a lot of friends (I'm still in touch with the GM and one of their officers) and just cleared content and PvP'd with them (We hosted 40 man premades for IoC to farm honor, streamed it and had an Alliance stream the rage of the enemy team). I left later in MoP for a break.
MoP
Fortune Cookie: The first guild I joined on this realm. They hard a hard time getting raids done, and it eventually fell apart.
Knights of Indecision: Went really strong, then the core (I.e. GM and a bunch of officers) left in the middle of the night to create Catalyst and we were in a bad situation once again. A friend of mine also asked me to come join the Alliance
Animosity: Currently raiding with them, no problems. However. Soon I will have a job interview, and I may not fit into their roster (which is mainly because of the raid starting at 7pm, when I may have to work until 7:30pm)
Raid availability
