What is your character's name, race, class and level?
I'm playing a Human Paladin named Caleron, as a write I'm a measly level 4...but I'm just about to kill Kurtok the Slayer

This character will be my main on this realm. I have had too many toons to remember during my time in Wow, I've tried pretty much all the race/class/talent combo's but have settled on the versatile Paladin. I'm looking to give The Alliance a proper go and if you guys get on with me and vice versa I may well make this guy my main and join in on some of the end game content once I get there.
Why <The Raven Council> and not any other guild?
The main thing for me when I play Wow is to have fun. I'm not a serious end game raider, I don't constantly look to damage meters to get a sense of well being, or always strive to get that new bit of armour that will increase my stats my 0.1%. I like to take things easy and enjoy myself whilst, hopefully, making some good friends along the way. I'm also starting to despair at the lack of maturity levels amongst many people who populate the World of Warcraft these days. My philosophy is that the harder it is to join a guild, the better experience you'll have once you become a member. The Raven Council seems to tick all the boxes in terms of what I'm looking for in a guild
Where (or from whom) did you hear about <The Raven Council>?
I just rolled a new character on the server and the guild name popped up in the guild recruitment section. I recognised the name from somewhere but for the life of me can't recall where, I've been playing Wow for a long time so I'm sure I've come across some of your members at some point. I do know that you are a very well established guild, a major reason for me applying to join.
Who are you? (please tell us a little about the real life you).
As I said in my preamble above, I'm a 26 year old Primary School Teacher. Teaching does (despite what some may say), take up a lot of my time, and I use Wow as a way to relax. I guess I'm just your run of the mill mid 20's bloke really, I enjoy playing MMO's (trying SWTOR at present), watching the mighty Crystal Palace FC, and drinking a tad too much So Co and Lemonade on occasion!
So there it is, I do hope I've not bored you with my rambling. If you've got any questions I'd be happy to answer them. I'm really looking forward to my new Alliance side Paladin, and hopefully I'll be able to get to know some of you guys better as a member of The Raven Council.
