1. What is your character's name, race, class and level?
Tobijjah, Night-Elf, Warrior, level 80.
2. Is this character your main character? Have you had any other characters before this one?
This is my main character on Defias Brotherhood.
Used to raid a lot with my paladin on Shattered Hand, wich i dont do anymore.
Ive cut down on WoW-playing and only wants to have fun with my friends on this server.
3. What are you looking for in a guild? (raiding, PvP, RP events etc..?)
Im mostly looking for the social community and some roleplay on the top of that.
4. What do you expect from <The Raven Council>?
A good guild to relax and have fun with friends in.
5. Why <The Raven Council> and not any other guild?
Because i have friends in RC that i want to play with.
6. Where (or from whom) did you hear about <The Raven Council>?
From my good friend Granted/Total.
7. Who are you? (please tell us a little about the real life you).
Well. My name is Tobias Andersson and i come from Eslöv in Sweden.
Im single and live on my own in my apartment. I used to work as an
developer-consultant with my own firm for a couple of years until i got sick.
Now i simply takes it easy and prepares for future job-searching.
My hobbies are computers, programming, art, roleplaying and airplanes.
Feel free to ask me if you want to know more about me.
With kind regards, Tobijjah.

Same argument (which you fail to conclusively address in your application) holds as after summer, when we came to a conclusion that it's probably best to part ways (I don't go into specifics of the incident here unless you ask for them).
As you probably know, we don't have strict mandatory activity/attendance penalties (besides requesting that you give advance notice if you are planning to have a longer break), but when you do spend time online, we expect certain commitment to the guild. Personally I find it curious that you mention having friends in the server but you don't mention being in tRC (for a short time) before.
The crux of the issue is, and questions...well, for what I'm at least unconvinced at this time: You are saying that this is "your main on Defias Brotherhood". Is it your true main, amongst all servers? Are you planning to truly commit to this character as your main (from this point on)? If you are simply planning to log every now and then for a few mins of chat with friends, you don't need guild for that...
We have a history of e.g. admitting ex-members who have been going for a visit to a "yarg" and decided to come back...and there are other arrangements that have been made for long-time members, but it comes down to this:
If you can address the concerns about your focus ("commitment" is a bit wrong word here) your application might be considered in a more favorable fashion. We considered the earlier incident rather tactless display of the lack of focus to Raven Council, and wish to avoid it happening again.

This sux imo.
I dont know what you are talking about Zar, if its the raid that Tobi cancelled along time ago ? Think it was Zul aman. He gave noticed 2 days early that he wouldnt make it. Thats good imo. If the reason is that he must go shopping or that he feels like playing on another char does it matter ? I havent been very commitment to raiding either and cancelled raids 2 hours before its starts. Ok i have always had real life issues to deal with.
The thing is that Tobi is always there if anyone need a dps in an instance or if someone whispers him hey please tobi can you respecc prot we need a tank? He will do it. But hey you are the boss mate, if you say he cant join he cant. I just think its sad cause he is a real life mate and i have played online games with him for ages.
Thats my 2 cents
P.S I think most ppl that have played with Tobi would agree with me that he is a good player. Always reads up on tacts and gives good advices and a nice and helpful dude

We would prefer Tobijah himself address our concerns (as was requested). So far we haven't gotten a reply.

Exactly. Also, that specific incident, while a start, is only a start for all that transpired.
Whisper an officer if you wish to know all the details (Preferable if you to do so in the first place instead of bringing it out in the public for all to see) and reasonings for the status as of now.

Well as i said. Ive stopped raiding with my paladin and are only playing casual now.
I dont recall agreeing on parting ways as you speak of.
If you have it logged, then ok.
I really dont see why you guys are so incredibly serious towards me.
Its piculiar that you guys are beeing so strict with people while your not even a serious raiding-guild.
I only want to join to play casual with friends, not to be a fullblood 24/7 raider.
You talk about lack of focus and commitment to the guild.
In the past i helped you guys out with quests, raids and gladly respecced as tank in many occations.
I consider that as an aid towards the guild in general.
Im applying to the guild again because i think i deserve a second chance and that i was faulty
kicked, while i instead should have been demoted to a non-raider since the "incident" only had
to do with raids and not the guild.
This is really all i have to say.
So if you guys wanna give me this second chance id be thankful and commit myself to the guild as i did before.
If not. Then i say thanks for your time and hope you all do well in the future.
