Well met, brothers in arms!
I think I've met most of you one time or another on a guild alliance raid, but this introduction may serve to freshen your memories and to introduce me to those who I've not yet had the pleasure of meeting.
I've been with VA almost my entire WoW career, only dropping WoW when AoC came along. Conan's realm did not have the same pull I felt in Azeroth, so I've been toying with the idea of returning. VA, as you know, has been bleeding out members to allied guilds (a fair share right here on RC) so consider me just the latest refugee.
1. What is your character's name, race, class and level?
Main is Thuren, Dwarf Hunter at level 70, alt Marthus, Draenei Shaman also at 70.
2. Is this character your main character? Have you had any other characters before this one?
Several others as well, but these two are the ones I'd be interested in bringing to raids and other events.
3. What are you looking for in a guild? (raiding, PvP, RP events etc..?)
What I'm mostly looking for is socializing, a fun group of people to chat with while running around on Azeroth. Having said that, Thuren in particular has been to his share of raids and is well equipped for ZA and the like. Marthus has been to Kara a few times, and I dare say can hold his own. RP events interest me also, and just before I froze my account Wolfie and others had gotten me interested in PvP as well.
4. What do you expect from <The Raven Council>?
Having had much experience in game with RC members, I expect all of the above.
5. Why <The Raven Council> and not any other guild?
Of the guilds in the good old Raid Alliance, RC seems to me to be the one most likely to have that casual, laid back, fun atmosphere that I came to love in my VA days.
6. Where (or from whom) did you hear about <The Raven Council>?
This would be the raid alliance.
7. Who are you? (please tell us a little about the real life you).
I'm a 31 y/o business type from Finland, RL friends with Wolffury, Valeo and Northri. I've been playing computer games most my life, worked selling them for a good four years as well, but have recently moved on to other things. I'm interested in RPGs, history and militaria.
