I'm Bernie, I'm 33 years old and I'm from California, but have lived in Scotland and London in the past

Questing, instances, and the odd M+.
Guild history
I've been in several guilds from US servers. I used to be part of an Australian/American raiding guild called "Unified Order", one of Lothar-US's top raiding guilds and even got to see the original 40-man Naxxramas! I've also been part of a few social guilds, like Alts of Alts from Wildhammer US, Union from Sargeras-US, among others.

About you
Hi! I have a rather strange story. I grew up in the US, studied in the UK, and am now living in Shanghai, China. I played extensively on the US servers from Vanilla to TBC, did a brief stint on the EU servers in Uni, then returned to the US servers from Warlords to Shadowlands. Against my better judgment, I decided to start from scratch and roll a character on the EU servers again, leaving my achievs and my mounts behind.
I have a love-hate relationship with WoW. When I first played it in 2005, I was absorbed by the community, the immersion, and the extensive lore. It was an addiction so fierce it threatened to consume my life, so I quit the game from a combination of burn out and the realisation that I had to focus on real life.
When I returned to the game, I have been able to forge a more healthy relationship, not obsessing over DPS meters and loot like I used to and simply enjoy the game for the social network that it truly is. What makes WoW so special is that it's an opportunity to meet other likeminded people and share experiences together.
