Who is your character?
Bubbseh, Protection Paladin, Wowprogress and Armory
Who are you?
My name is Stefan, I'll be 25 years of age in August. I am from Iceland.
To which Raid Group are you Applying?
RG1, I would like to do mythic progression.
Experience
I'll mention past and current expansion experience, I cleared every raid ever since molten core during progression(didn't kill sapph and kel in naxx40) excluding Karazhan. Some of the more ''cool'' achievements are ICC Heroic and Firelands heroic fullclear during progression. ICC HC as a Protection Paladin.
Legion experience: Heroic Emerald Nightmare, Curve achieved as a Protection Paladin. ToV Curve with my hunter, same for Nighthold.
Raid Role
I've usually been vocal, due to raid leading since Icecrown Citadel. I do not wish to get back to that, but very used to the role of lead-tank (maintank) - I watch loads of streams, read up on Icy Veins, read class Discords and theorycraft myself to keep up to scratch on my main spec. I tend to record my gameplay during progression for review.
Your Spec
As of writing this application, I'm at 37 traits in the new patch for Protection as a Paladin. I know that rotations aren't really a thing for most tanks, so instead of that, I'll comment on things you must concentrate on, such as not falling into the trap of using Shield of the Righteous whenever it's up, it's probably the strongest mitigation in the game and often you may just press it if there's nothing else to do, however this'd be an error, possibly one that'll get you killed, but with that said, it's also important to know that with high amounts of haste and critical strike rating you'll have a pretty good uptime on Shield Of the Righteous.
Stat priority? All of the stats are really good for Protection Paladins:
Haste: Increases uptime on Shield Of the Righteous due to more judgements and Avenger shield(gives an absorb due to artifact traits).
Crit: Judgement critical hits reduce the cooldown of Shield of the Righteous by 4 seconds.
Those are the stats I'll probably prioritize on, but Mastery and Versatility are also incredibly potent.
Talents can shift around a lot for protection paladins, like in the first row sometimes Holy Shield is worth taking for caster bosses (star augur?). In the second row, all 3 are viable and basically up to personal preference in my opinion, I choose First Avenger due to the incredible potency of absorbs from our artifact trait. Bastion of light is often taken for easy farm bosses alongside Seraphim, Seraphim is only used on farm as it is a dps increase primarily, however it has seen uses for Krosus, something for me to consider. Righteous protector is usually the go-to for me, higher uptime on our selfheal and dps(+healing) cooldown, last defender has seen uses in various mythic plus dungeons.
Gear wise: I'm working on a lot of haste, smoothens out our ''rotation'' and overall just reduces damage taken by a lot, I sadly still have a retribution legendary that I've had since Emerald Nightmare, my time for a new legendary drop is close.
Off-specs and Alternative characters
Currently none of my off-specs are up to scratch, neither are my alts, but I'm willing to work on any tank class later on if deemed better than my Paladin.
I raided with a blood deathknight in Throne of Thunder (normal clear, 1 heroic kill).
Communication
I feel like it's important for tanks to be vocal to a certain extent, so yes, and yes I'm quite happy to use the forums.
Combat Logs
https://www.warcraftlogs.com/rankings/c ... 003921/10/ - I haven't really logged anything since Emerald Nightmare.
https://www.warcraftlogs.com/rankings/c ... 159957/10/ - Guardian druid logs too.
Your UI
http://prnt.sc/eqax44 it's not during raid, didn't feel like jumping into LFR while I'm working on this, if you desire a new screenshot, just let me know and I'll work on it.
Guild History
In the end of Cataclysm, I started my own guild, and in January this year I stopped playing with them as I wanted to become a more serious raider again but didn't wish to ruin anything for them. During that time, I learned a lot about leadership and hardship, probably gave me more raiding experience than raiding high-end ever gave me, regardless of that, I had joined a new guild on Silvermoon with my hunter when I'd found you, they didn't have a tank spot for me so I instantly jumped onto this oppurtunity, I explained it to the GM in that guild and he told me to chase my heart, and my heart is where tanking is.
Raid availability
Yes, I can, at least 99% of the time.
References
I have an entire guild on Silvermoon that can vouch for me. I would however list these two as my vouchees:
Roaxna - Defias Brotherhood, this guy is my best friend, known him since Wrath.
Wanyo - Silvermoon, probably the best player I've ever played with, known him since early CoD4 days.
I found you on WoWprogress, was looking to transfer here due to Roaxna.
About you
I'm nice, I genuinely mean that. I don't often have any issues with anyone and not often do people have issues with me. I can be quite competitive too, in a good way.
Miscellaneous
My gear isn't completely ideal, however I'd say that I'm a day or two from being ready to jump in.
Thanks,
Stefan.

Hi Bubs, thanks for you app!
Your gear/AP/legendaries/logs are still behind what we'd normally be looking for at this stage, but we can review what you've written here.
Also FYI, I'm away from Friday until April 4th, so Deliant will be your new contact. He'll get back to you with feedback.

Yeah, still working as much as humanly possible on gear and AP, not much I can do about legendaries really, gotta pray to the RNG gods. This weekend I'll be going crazy for dungeons etc, been doing a few dungeons with a couple RG1 members this patch, hopefully can continue that trend.Bowick wrote:Hi Bubs, thanks for you app!
