Raid Role
Of course as damage dealer I should react to encounter mechanics properly and avoid any unnecessary damage taken while keeping highest possible damage done on right targets. Referring to spec - elemental shaman brings to raid a bit of utility (for example windwalk totem) aswell as high stable/sustain AoE damage. As for my second spec - resto shaman is strong at healing grouped allies and brings powerfull unique cooldowns such as spirit link totem.
I judge my performance by analysing combat data such as damage taken, healing or damage done aswell as learning from each mistake made. To prepare for raids, I learn boss encounters by watching or reading strategy guides for it (nowdays mainly wowhead and fatboss youtube channel). For class and spec information updates I check forums and guides on wowhead, icy veins, "stormearthandlava.com" (forum for elemental shamans) and Earthshrine channel on discord (for both specs). Keeping eye on blue post tracker on mmo champion helps to foresee and prepare to class aswell as to general game changes.
Your Spec
There are 3 viable specs for elemental shaman: ascendance - good for single target and cleave but weak for movement, icefury - very good for single target and best spec for dealing with movement, and lighting rod - good for heavy aoe fights. For ascedance best stat before is mastery (before "soft cap" due to elemental blast buff) than crit than haste, for icefury and lighting rod mastery equals crit than haste. As for rotation priorities for all specs (except lighting rod durning aoe) ele shaman should always keep up flame shock DoT and try have highest possible elemental blast buff uptime. For icefury, maelstrom and short cooldown abilites (elemental blast>earthshock>icefury) management is the key. For ascendence finding best time window for burst ( timing this cooldown with heroism, potion and encounter mechanics ) is crucial.
I think hybrid classes were made so players can master all of the roles they provide - brining flexibility to raid team. That's why I wouldn't call my restoration an off-spec. Stat priorty is: mastery>crit>haste. For resto as default I'm using 3/2/1/2/3/2/3 build with changes depending on encounters. Rotation aswell depends on encounter and raid team actual strategy, in short switching from AoE healing with chain heal and cloudburst totem timing, to very spot healing with riptide and healing wave (or even healing surge - depends on panic level ). Of course using spirit link totem and healing tide totem as raid/healing leader demand is key to raid team strategy for specific encounter.
Off-specs and Alternative characters
I can switch gladly between resto and ele specs without any performance losses. For now I have 42 traits for elemental weapon and 36 for restoration one. To be honest I'm missing restoration legendary at this moment but I'm hunting it.
I also have protection paladin alt:

Communication
I do have a microphone and it isn't problem for me to using it during encounters. As I always try to find solution for any problem, I gladly would use this forum to learn and share thoughts.

Guild History
After I have returned to playing WoW durning WoD I have been only in small two guilds. First guild "Nightfire" stopped raiding a month after I had joined it. Second is my actual guild " The Restless". It is small guild with only 10-15 people willing to raid. I have been waiting really long for increase in raid team players number, but I'm losing my faith it might happen. It leads to the point when we hit the limit (which is clear of heroic difficulty content) not because of lack of skills. For that, it is also point where gaming experience being to suffer. I think that point of mmo games is to play with other people and achieving more and more via team work. That's why in-game guilds are made for. I would like to join TRC because I think it's guild that provides high level gaming experience in nice company.
Raid availability
Yes I can attend to all raid events.

My main sources of information were wowprogress site and TRC site. I have done mythic+ with group from RTC once but I doubt they might remeber it
