I am Dom, 31 years old from Scotland.

Activity

This tends to change each time I return to the game, and for now I am not certain where my focus will be. I would probably like to get back into raiding, but it has been a long time. Regardless, I enjoy all aspects of the game.

Guild history

The last guild I was in, at the start of WoD, was called <Aware>. There was a lot of casual sexism and racism there and the experience really soured my appetite for trying to find a new guild, so I left the game again until now.


References

I'm not sure I would know any of your members. I don't recognise many names on Defias anymore, but I at least remember seeing your guild around in the golden days.

About you

I have played WoW on and off since the start, though I have been very casual since the end of Wrath. I came to Defias a while before the servers first anniversary to join a friend in Crimson Gauntlet for some progression raiding. Except for a period at the end of TBC, when I played with Vanguard of Justice to raid Black Temple and Sunwell, I stayed with that guild til it drifted apart (again) at the end of Wrath.

Since then, I have never really had a home in WoW. I have been in many small RP guilds, some of them really great ones, but I haven't been able to find the same kind of atmosphere and camaraderie that was present in those old guilds.

I would very much like to raid again in Legion, as I intended to do with WoD before I realised that I didn't belong in the guild I had picked to do so with. However, as I am rather undergeared and - though I used to be able to point to Naxx40 and Sunwell as 'experience' - I haven't set foot in a proper raid since ICC, I would rather apply to be a social member and see where it goes from there.
