David, I'm Danish and I'm 22 years old.
Which of our two raid groups are you applying for?
[RG1 or RG2? You can find more information about them -here- (pending update to this page) and -here-. You should have a preference, but do mention if you haven't enough information to decide.]
I would prefer RG1, however any raid group would do fine.
Raid role
[Describe your current role in a raid team, how you prepare for it and how you judge your own performance. Where do you learn new things and keep yourself updated on your class?]
I have no actual current role, as I've had a break from WoW. But a role for me is mainly DPS or healing.
I follow rogue forums and subforums to keep myself up to date, I check how the best rogues play, and their stat weights to see what works for them, because obviously if I find similarities between the best, there must be a reason why they do as they do.
I judge my performance depending on the fight, and comparing to equally geared melee dps classes. If I am performing equally to those or better and it's acceptable, I'm happy. However I always strive to do my best.
Experience
[What is your prior raiding experience and when did you do it (ie, did you clear a raid when it was current content or not)? If you've performed any character change re-rolling in your time, what character(s) and role(s) did you play during which content?]

Almost all my raid progress was cleared as current content, with exceptions of Sunwell, Ulduar, and some bosses in ICC HC.
I mainly raided as Rogue, but swapped to shadow/holy priest during wotlk because of a guild need.
I stuck with playing priest/rogue as mains, depending on what was needed, but both got well into the game progression and was well geared for the content I used to play them in.
To make a timeline; Vanilla: Rogue, BC, Rogue, Wotlk Rogue/Priest, cata Rogue/Priest Deathknight(tank) MoP some priest, mainly warlock, But I found warlock boring (warlock was again to suit a guild need!) and I've gone back to my roots, my poison slinger.
Off-specs and Alternative characters
[How comfortable are you switching to your off-spec for a fight/raid if needed?
Do you have any alts that would also be a viable option for raiding with us? (for the case that we love you but can't fit your main in our rosters) Please add Armory links for other characters if so, and tell us to what degree they are/have been played.]

Communication

Yeah I got a working headset, I'm fine with using it, the more the better! Socializing that way is great while clearing trash stuff, or grouping together and do a dungeon or other content.
World of Logs stuff

I'm afraid I'm not able to provide WoL logs, because I've had a break and haven't been raiding recently.
Guild History
[What other guilds have you been in? What made you move(/plan to move) from these guilds, and why join ours?]
Since vanilla up to the end of wotlk, I played and raided on the server Ravencrest. If any of you have history on Ravencrest, you might remember a guild named Borked, which I was a proud raiding member of.
What made me move, was that the guild stopped raiding, some grew out of WoW, some didn't have time etc. you know the drill.
During Cata, I was mostly guildless and got into raiding purely because of my history on the server.
I moved to DB in MoP, because I have a few RL friends that play here.
I got to be a member of Paradise Lost, with whom I raided in ToT. However the guild atmosphere was not really my cup of tea. They're great guys, but I just didn't really fit in.
Raid availability
[Can you generally make all of our raiding days (for either RG1 or 2), or are there any difficulties with this? Our raid schedules are found -here-.]
I'm able to raid all days, exceptions would be in holidays.

I've seen your adds in trade chat a few times that you were looking for people, it's been a while but I remembered it.
About you
[A little something about yourself as a person. It can be brief if you like, it's just a sort of introduction to the rest of the guild.
]I'm secretly competitive.
In that way, that I strive to do my best while still doing what I have to do. If people get competitive with me, I'm all game. But mostly I keep it for myself, and use recount to improve stuff like my dps.
For healing, I also like to be competitive, improving my HPS, reducing my overheal, while still maintaining my mana pool properly.
I'm a relaxed down on earth fella, an old player in the game, I know a lot about the classes I play.
