PC number 1 is back up and running. The hard drive is dead and is now gracing the bottom of the bin along with the remains of last night's curry and a couple of empty Asahi bottles.
I even managed to find an old hard drive (the one I replaced 6 months ago, never cleared down and forgot about) which had the majority of my data that I thought I'd lost forever!
Woooo! I installed WoW yesterday evening, it should have patched itself over night so I should be ready to go tonight!
