Playing wow was already possible on android with pc control software and a keyboard that stayed on screen.
Moving your character had to be done with the keyboard though, is it possible to do it fully touch-based on ipad?

Yes!

In that case they should be able to port that to android as well as it's just a matter of how you control it.

Playing wow with microsoft kinects seems a lot better

Not really . I bet you can't do even a heroic with the kinect interface. The amount of moving from bad things is probably too much to control with your arms.

Yeah that is true but it just be a good thing to have a go with, wondering how im combining all my fire moves :/ kick my foot for fireball
