Monkey Island on your PDA

I said I'd post the link here for those that wanted to recreate their Monkey Island memories on their PDA.

Well it appears much as improved on this front since I toyed with it. There's a mountain of new games that are supported on a variety of platforms (you can even play Monkey Island on the iPhone!).

Well the link for the software is: http://www.scummvm.org.

The game files are still technically copyrighted I believe, so they're not legally available. If only there was some site or other where you could search for files and then download them over some sort of peer to peer network - then you could just search for ScummVM and get hold of them that way.

Oh, I was sent a link to miniNova.org the other day - can someone tell me what it is for?

For Sierra's games I'd recommend FreeSCI instead. It includes stuff like upscaling filters, such as recreating the old "16-color" games, see below:

Does anyone here use MAME at all?

If you don't know it it's an emulator for old arcade machines (anything from Space Invaders through to Street Fighter Alpha 3X and beyond).

Interested in any memories in particular let me know ;P

Luckily I still don't know what 'a torrent site' is and I'm definitely not suggesting you visit such a thing with the express purpose of obtaining copyrighted material.
