Stuck on 84% ?

Anyone else having issues getting the last patch-data down ?

Seems like the pre-downloaded stuff is the 84%, and the rest refuses to get down.

Using McAfee Personal Firewall Plus and I have followed the guide on Blizzards-webpage as to allow access to WoW.

It was stuck on 84 for me too for a while, but then it picked up again.

My guess is that too many people are downloading now and it takes longer because of that.

Doesn't matter anyway, because while typing this, the servers (ALL of em) are still downer than a down thing that has gone down.

Man this sucks.

I'll go hit the gym and then it better be done when I get home - I need my daily dosis of WoW - allready shaking here....

Suck it does.

Typical Blizzard: maintenance is extended "a little". But you can't even log on to the website and/or the forums to find out what the heck is going on.

I fear that the "planned" Zul'Gurub run tonight will be in jeopardy.

Mine stuck on 83% for a while, then eventually nudged up to 84%...where it's sat ever since....

...and now 85%. At this rate I'll see you sometime next month.

Interesting patch notes for this patch (unverified source) seems as though there's a lot of CTRaid functionality going in this time with the leader being able to issue raid warnings that appear mid screen and perform a ready check as well.

Hehe.

Well, to be fair, once it's incorporated into the standard UI, it pretty much ceases to be an add-on, right?

Interesting little patch note about Distract. It should now work on players as well. I wonder how?

And Cel, take it easy on the downloading. The servers are still not back up.

Yup, stuck for me at 84% too and the error message "the tracker is not responding". Glad to see that it's not only mine problem.

The patch looks really really cool, though. The druids will be even more imba now :D :D :D

I heard that "the tracker is not responding" is caused by trojan which was downloaded with this patch :( :?: , but i think its blizz's problems
Performing full scan of my computer...
PS Dont worry, all realms are still down

Good link Gillion, looks like I'll get it in a matter of minutes rather than hours now...

The "trojan" alert is nothing to worry about Ryvaine, it's one of those popular myths. Still, as good a time as any to run an AV scan anyway ;-)

I'll wait for the downloader to continue working since downloading the 150 MB patch takes about 2.5 hours for me so I guess it's pointless...

I'd have to agree on the myth remark.

I had the non-responsive tracker warning, but a minute later it was done downloading.

It must be due to thousands upon thousands of people all downloading the patch at the same time. That could stress even the sturdiest of systems.

Hey, Grim, did it continue automatically or you closed the downloader and started it again?

It should continue all on its own.

I downloaded the patch off the link from Gillion in minutes; it's now installed...but there's no servers to play on still! :-(

I didn't have to do anything. It just went on, on its own.
