I take it this is some sort of rapid prototyping... and you're right BLOODY expensive.

I did this with a few of my 3dsMax models with a view to creating a line of miniatures... havn't got very far with them at the moment,though.

It was based on a combination of two ships from Homeworld 2; the Hiigaran Destroyer and the Vaygr Battlecruiser.

I was thinking Full Thrust, but they're generic and could be used for any system.

Aside from having 3dsMax, I don't have the means. I have had to farm out the 3d printing and am trying to save enough money to get them cast up.

It'll happen one day, but not until I have enough spare cash lying around!
