Uninteresting sidenote from the rogue

Just for the record, the sign up mess for Sunday's Mc raid really did piss me off at one point, since obviously being queued don't really mean you get dibs on openings in the raid sign up, but I'm fine with it now. Don't care anymore to be honest but I won't be signing up for any future raids. no hard feelings or pointing fingers here, just saying it as it is. One time of this was enough for me, though I hope it gets sorted for future raids so others don't get to experience the same frustration as me.

As for Zg and Aq raids with Rc, I'll only go if needeed cause I can't really stand any of those places. Though I'll gladly show up just to support the guild should you lack people.

One of the signed rogues cancelled and I was next in queue but I wasn't moved into the open slot and so it was signed by another rogue despite me being queued. Though, Ayme did get her nightslayer pants so it was worth it. Means she had a good first run to Mc ^^
Thing was the sign up system didn't move me up automatically, nor could I move myself up nor did it help contacting Valeo cause he wasn't online until half an hour before the raid or something. Still it's slightly annoying since it proves that the queued spots don't matter if someone cancels. it's better then not to have signed as queued at all, cause you can't resign or move yourself up on the list which means all you can do is cancell the signup and that doesn't reeally help. That's what really needs fixing
As for the mix up, i talked with Valeo and yeh I know it was a slip that i didn't get an invite. We talked around eachother basically. Since i found that I wouldn't get the spot i made other plans so I couldn't have stayed for more than two hours though I'd still have liked to go. I understand that they'd rather have people who could stay the whole raid and I told him so. But finding out that two other rogues more than those signed was invited I got annoyed since then I really think i should have gotten one of those spots even if I could only have stayed two hours.
As things are now, the sign up system doesn't work and I'm gonna drag behind awfully on the dkp standing since I can't raid next week. Last week I couldnt raid either which was why I really wanted to to go this week.
Anyways, signup mess, faulty system and knowing how badly I'll lag on the dkp is enough for me not to want to sign up anymore. I really really hope the php sign up system is fixed so no one else gets to experience the annoyance of being queued only to find it doesn't matter.

But i'm gonna stop bitching now. Sorry, just wanted to let you know why i won't be signing for more raids.

Hopefully we'll have phpraid working on our own page soon. There were some problems earlier implementing it here.

What use is a queue if you can't move out of it and it doesn't even work as one. Firstly a namechange to 'reserve bank' should fit i believe. Secondly we should look into the current system and have raidleaders track who is next in line to join raids.

This sort of mixups leaves a very bad taste in my mouth, moreso due to now having to raid without my favorite rogue. ><

My suggestion right now would be to compensate players screwed by the signup page with DKP, they don't deserve to lag behind due to a faulty system. Especially not now that we're just starting out.

Although I regret screwups with the signup page, I do like to point out two things:
- we're trying to fix the old one and we're in the process of makong our own version for Raven Council raids;
- MC raids are based on a zsDKP-system, meaning that you'll get penalized for winning, not awarded for attending.
