Which platform you run WoW on?

Post by frozenwiller » 29 Jun 2006, 11:37

Just out of sick curiosity, I thought it would be nice to know, are there any non-MS gamers in the guild? My main OS has been Linux for several years, so I'll use it also for wow (though I have a windows gaming machine also..)

And Powerbook G4 (from work). Is a little too low specced, but can do the job when not in very crowded areas :)

Running WoW on my lovely shiny new 17" intel mac. It's installed on both the OS X and Windows partitions but I only use OS X atm...

I use Windows XP, not because it is better than any other choice nor because I despise the money grabbing bastard whore techniques of the companies that sell it's competitors; but because it works and it can run anything.

I am however considering some sort of unix/linux OS running on my arcade machine - extra stability, less resource hungry and faster boot time than Windows can offer would be nice.

I've never run anything but windows on my machines. As what I do most on my pc is gaming, I fai lto see the point in running an OS that might not allow me to play what I want.
