Re: Any Star Citizens around (RSI forming guild system)

Been playing with the dogfight module for a while. The graphics is awesome, physics model is great, flight model...well, it's pre-alpha, and doesn't seem to exactly catch the full newtonian 6DoF yet (devs have mentioned that it will be ironed out). However, looks really promising.

Re: Watch out for those PuGs...

When I posted the link, my actual thoughts were along the lines of...."Nice. Some folks at NSA have really managed to convince their bosses that they really should be playing WoW and XBox all day, all in the interests of national security, and get paid for it."

Any Star Citizens around (RSI forming guild system)

Are there any others who have funded Star Citizen yet? They have now started building up guild system due to popular demand. If there are others we could form our own little group for when the game eventually launches: https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/transmission/13418-All-About-Organiz...

Re: Wing commander fans rejoice

Gotta say this is looking more and more exciting. Even the multiplayer part. Eve online combined with you piloting your own ship, without monthly fees.

Re: Wing commander fans rejoice

They have stated that they have investors willing to put in basically $12-$20 million depending on the community interest. And yeah, they have taken the donation counters off for now as the entire site has been switched to a "light" version. I guess they have to spend first contributions in getting ...

Re: Wing commander fans rejoice

Yeah, the site was pretty much down to a crawl about 5 minutes into the announcement with $160000 already collected. I'll wait a few days for things to settle :)

Re: Mass Effect 3 (Spoilers Alert)

Is there any faster way to see the other endings btw, instead of doing the whole illusive man base again and the whole of earth? I was able to restore from a quicksave I made at the last london base where you say your farewells. After that it's only the one last big fight (launching those missiles)...

Re: Mass Effect 3 (Spoilers Alert)

I thought that with the "control" ending the Mass relay network is only damaged, not destroyed - so, as a matter of fact, it's pretty much the "best" option IMHO :)

Re: Mass Effect 3

Finished the game on Sunday. Apparently I'm supposed to do multiplayer as well to get the "best" ending though - which kinda sucks - although http://www.oxm.co.uk/39560/want-the-best-mass-effect-3-ending-dont-worry-about-galactic-readiness/ suggests otherwise. Anyway, I basically did *all* possible ...

Mass Effect 3 (Spoilers Alert)

Just got mine today. Have been playing for 3-4 hours now - just got to the part where you actually can choose what to do on Normandy. Anyway, I like the thing - I'm still not quite sure how the gathering of resources is supposed to work since they have apparently abandoned both the driving sections ...
