Re: Wing commander fans rejoice

Looks very good!

However i cannot find the number it needs to have and the amount pledged so far anywhere.

Also Im a bit worried if they can pull all the stuff they say they are going to. Pretty lofty dreams.

Cortex / Tothu applying back

Hi folks, some of you remember me as Valeo (priest), Cortex (hunter) or Tothu (druid). I just bought MoP and thought it would be nice to hang around with old friends. Most probably I'm not going to raid, ill just play the MoP content and see where it leads me. Anyhow, seems that my forum account is ...

MuhahahaHAAAAAA!!!   On a more serious note, there has been numerous problems on NVIDIA cards with WoW aswell, so i guess there arent safe bets here. When i bought my nvidia 9800 GX2 i had to wait a couple ...

Yeah well, they dont understand the net that good either ;) I have many friends who wouldnt understand it either, since they blatantly ignore anything that has to do with gaming. I wont bother to explain the social ramifications to them.

Re: the makings of a one man...

You dont find the implications huge, when one move made by one player probably makes may people leave the game / join the game? And whenever there are thousands of ppl involved, its not just a game. It has nothing to do with being absorbed. I dont play EVE, i found the basic game mechanics boring. "...

Re: the makings of a one man...

I find it fascinating what things can happen in EVE. The players truly form the gameworld, which is merely a sandbox. Note that BOB was an alliance, not a corporation (guild in EVE). It consisted of multiple corporations. So the implications are huge. (The original news i posted was somewhat poorly ...

Re: Jumpgate Evolution

And you can't say about any MMO that it's releasing "soonish", when it doesn't even have a public beta. Once that starts, add another 6-12 months and that's when it might reach a playable state :) Well this is indeed true, and many MMO's have fallen even before they got in any meaningful beta. (One...

Re: Jumpgate Evolution

heh, well good! Signed to the beta, but didnt hear anything from them. The game look cautiously promising. I recon itll still have auto targeting, but at least you control your ship yourself. EVE was boring as hell and too complicated for my taste. The game is scheduled to be released soonish, so le...

Always wanted to have one but couldnt count the costs? Well now its done for you! Albeit a very basic, non-functional model, it still has to count for something doesnt it?
