i have an termaltake 700 watt, its quite good, quiet and not too expensive.
all the wires are nicely packed so you dont get an chaos of wires and you can unplug all the cables so you dont have cables you dont use.

seriously, how do whole PCs die? ive never ever ever had that, ever once my motherboard got broken and if you have bad luck it can take some components with it, in my case i believe it was my GPU also and it was an old socket with an agp card i think (way back :P) so then you can get a whole new pc
