Re: Secret wold of Arietty

Hehe! Yeah, that's true, nothing beats Princess Mononoke! Howl's moving castle is pretty good too , and Kiki's delivery service, allthough they're not entirely fantasy based. Somehow I also like Whispers of the heart, just because I just adore the cat... *smile* Porko Rosso is a bit dull though, sam...

Secret wold of Arietty

Just have to post a thread in case anyone missed this Ghibli movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1568921/ - or if that doesn't work Secret world of Arietty (based on the book The Borrowers by Mary Norton) The movie is awesome in both art and sound aspect! (but as an artist it's one of those movies yo...

Re: Skyrim

No I don't think it does.
I don't know for sure if it matters if you picked the option to cure the curse,
but I believe that the ring will work even so.
I'll probably have a look at it this weekend so I'll post if I get some definite answers.

Re: Skyrim

From what I've heard, and read around the tool tips is that the white dragons at least are significantly harder to kill. Also you can always turn the game difficulty up a notch for a good challenge. Regarding werewolfs, there is actually a Daedra quest that will net you a ring (if completed in a cer...

Re: A Game of Thrones

I'd recommend Robin Hobb as well (the Farseer triology, the Tawny man, the Liveshio traders, amongst others). George Martin has been writing short reviews for her books, and she does the same for his work, and they are a bit similar in the way they write very closely to their "worlds" (with lore and...

Re: A Game of Thrones

Hehe! I wonder how many will get stuck in that trap of yours Rezag... *grin* You definitely haven't waited in vain Jolith. From what I can tell, and it wasn't too long ago that I read the first book, they've done a great job with both cast and dialogue. I haven't found anything wrong with the charac...

A Game of Thrones

Couldn't find the post with recommended movies, so this will have to do: Just watched the first episode of the new fantasy series, A Game of Thrones, (based on George R R Martins book series A song of Ice and Fire), and I just have to give a little heads up to you all about it. One of the better ada...

Re: rift

Yeah, that seems to be one of the flaws with the game.
And if the server (shard) is a bit low populated that doesn't help.
Thought they'd tuned that a bit from the beta.

Re: rift

I tried it a bit during beta, and was plesantly surprised with how polished it was even though it wasn't released yet. Both in regards of graphics and game play. So I'd might take a look at it. A couple of friends of mine from Skellefteå is playing on the Argent shard, (rp pve), but it would be nice...
